on the cover of People...Wow....there is a strong possibility that it could be over....but then maybe this so callled seperation could just be them needing space while they both figure out if they really want to stay together...I remember reading that johnny is going through some mid life crisis and vaanessa said he could come back to her when he got it out of his system.

Ok, this is really just an observation from back in February, 2011, which I can't stop thinking about since all of these split rumours have been swirling around.

I was really touched by Vanessa's emotion while singing Hallelujah at her LA concert. She has tears in her eyes in the Youtube video and has to compose herself before starting the next song. At the time I thought that for some reason she had been overtaken with emotion during that rendition. Now though I am beginning to think that, if these rumours are true, her emotion may have had something to do with what she and Johnny were going through??!!

Now before anyone gets upset with me and feels the need to tell me how out of line I am for even suggesting this--I just want to be clear that this is just my observation and basically me thinking out loud! I am most likely totally off-base! It's nice to feel free to voice one's thoughts here though, no matter how crazy they may sound to others

Vanessa has passion for music.When she sings,you can see she enjoys a lot,she shines There are certain songs than touch you.Not because you are going through bad times,just you feel connected to the music,and you feel happy,excited,inspired,artistic..and you can cry.
I like singing too,and there are romantic songs that really touch me and when I sing them I almost cry.

Considering how much Vanessa adores the music and the talented and artistic she is about it,It is not strange I think it has more to do with her feelings towards music.But your opinion is interesting,thanks for sharing

No, there are mysteriously no HQs of him there.

I have to say this isn't looking good. I should really unsubscribe from Google alerts... there had been many reports of Johnny having bought a separate bachelor pad in LA a while ago, and now that all seems to make sense. E! says they're probably going to announce something soon.

From the descriptions I've seen, that so-called bachelor pad sounds like the art deco condo he was rumored to have purchased a few years ago. There was a real estate report last year, I think it was, that said it was sold. JD does own several other houses near the "castle". He's been buying them as they have come on the market over the last many years. If they wanted to live separately but still co-parent, they can do so without further property purchases. We really need to ignore the more sensational reports.

There was at least one HQ pic of Johnny at the Globes that showed the ring finger. It was pretty fuzzy but from what can be seen, it didn't look like he was wearing the ring. BUT it was too unclear to be sure. Btw, the engraving on the ring to me looks like it says "Paris 1998".

The "V" it's clear to me...with rest of the name, it's possible to count the number of characters engraved on the ring

I hate these kind of rumours, true or false, I wish the media would just calm it down! I will be gutted if these stories are true, they are the perfect couple in my eyes and after 14 years it'd be such a shame, but only Johnny and Vanessa know what's going on in their relationship and it's their business!

Ever since the People magazine cover & story hit the internet, I've been tense about the whole situation. I don't know what to think. Part of me wants to believe that it's all nonsense and they're perfectly fine. But how can I neglect the blaring signs? Usually, People magazine, being a fairly reputable publication, is spot on and there is still no word from both Johnny's and Vanessa's publicists. There is no attempt to shoot down the story. The longer it lingers, the worse it becomes. I just hope we get answers soon. Perhaps, they're waiting to make an official announcement after Vanessa's promotion for Café de Flore.

I don't think there will be an official announcement either way. Nothing I've seen in their past leads me to believe they will say anything about their personal lives. I also think speculating does no good; it just gets people more worked up over something we can't possibly know about, or do anything about.

These are rumours from trashy tabloids, and I haven't seen any proof shown for anything that has been "reported" . And I highly doubt anyone in Johnny and Vanessa's "inner circle" would blab anything to the press.
