Thanks Meixang! I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that Lily Rose Depp and Johnny Depp were on the song New Year. I can hardly wait to hear it.

I'm a bit confused by the credits. It looks like the first name listed on each track is the composer. In some cases it looks like there is more than one composer. Only two instances show what might be the performers - Love Song and New Year. The Dark, It Comes also seems to include the composer as performer but listed differently than the other two. I assume Vanessa is the solitary singer on the other tracks. I hope we do get to hear LR's singing voice and I like that both parents as well as Ruth Carter are involved.

I agree with you Lizzie it is confusing!
I wonder when they would have all gotten together to record it? I thought it meant that all four of them wrote the song. I hope I am wrong. I would love to hear both Lily Rose and Johnny sing!

Lil Rose and Johnny don't sing. They wrote the song with Vanessa and Ruth Carter. The second credit is the writer of lyrics.

Or maybe the music, I don't know if the second name is for the composer or for the writer of lyrics.
But I'm sure, it's not the performer.

These credits are a little confusing - I think they all refer to the composer(s) unless it says (avec ... ), which indicates that the song is performed as a duet with that person. So my guess is (like Ludi said) the song "New Year" was written by the four, but they won't be performing on it. Still, will be interesting to see what it's like I also found this link for info on Bill and Ruth Carter: billcarterandtheblame.com/about.html. And a very old article about Ruth's cooking career www.austinchronicle.com/food/1997-08-22/529466/

I'm a big fan of Ruth and Bill Carter. I found a song on You Tube that Bill and Ruth Carter wrote the day Lily Rose was born. The story is that they wrote it while they were waiting for the phone call to tell them that Vanessa had given birth. The song is called Paris, Chanson pour Lily Rose. It is really a beautiful song. Here is a link to You Tube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6UQak7LTwcI don't know if I am allowed to link to this song. If I am not please feel free to remove it.

This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I definitely want the deluxe edition with bonus songs. Vanessa so rarely comes out with albums, she is the only artist I will not put a price on when it comes to purchasing her movies or music. I wish it was easier to figure out which one to get. They should really consider selling on amazon.com or something...
