The title by itself is somewhat funny... well at least now US tabloids seems to have gotten over it now I wish the same for the french tabs. Their split has saddened all of us but it's time to get over it and let it go... IMO  |

I love Johnny, but something tells me he is taking this pretty hard. I still believe he loves her. Johnny, if you do, go back to France and live out the life you made with this wonderful woman!!!!

One big problem seems to be, her life is in France, and his is in L.A. They must have decided there could no longer be compromise.

^Agree!I also feel she still loves him too. Thanks! I think it was Vanessa in an interview around the official break up that stated you can love someone but not be able to be/live with them...or something to that effect. Don't know if they would ever get back together, but they have a bond due to their children together. Maybe they just grew apart over the years. |

Reading the excerpt, it sounds to me as some sort of made up story because those comments about Johnny's health in the "Lone Ranger" shooting (that he was having a hard time with problems on his back and some insomnia, etc) and also to justify the story in this mag- months ago- about Vanessa and the children moving to France (thing that didn't happen)I'm a big fan of both and it's hard to me assume this, but I think they both look better since the split ...Vanessa looks healthy and beautiful, doing what she likes, spending time in France, etc... But also Johnny...sorry, but nothing in his recent pictures says or show any signal of stress/problems. On the contrary he looks relaxed, very smiling, it's notorious he has lost some weight (in the good side) and even it's said he stop the booze, etc, etc... The French mags needs to get over this! and if in a time they want to take a new chance, that would be great but now it sounds FAKE

I think they both look really good. Whatever the reason for the split, they seem to be getting on with their lives and staying busy. They didn't give the gossips any stories, so they are just making things up. At least in France...the U.S. press has moved on to new victims.

I agree Omorfis, the tabloids need to stop squeezing this story dry for any drop of scandal they can create, and accept that they have split!
We don't know if they do still love each other, but I imagine that after 14 yrs and 2 children you would always love that person in a way, but perhaps not like you did in the beginning. I also don't really buy the Vanessa = France & Johnny= LA reasoning, they made it work for a long time prior to their split and if you really, really loved someone (like I believe they did) I don't think they would sacrifice their relationship for that.
Selfishly (just because I was so entranced by their love-story) I would love to know why they split, but I've given up on expecting that to happen!

Such a stupid article. Still not sure why Vanessa decided to have a mansion in L.A. As little time as she spends there, it looks like an apartment would have been more practical. It's very obvious that Vanessa wanted to live full time in France. Johnny's work and business ventures are in L.A. He probably needed to be near his mom, too...who is in poor health. He spent a lot of years trying to make France his home base. He probably just needed to be home. Not a receipe for a successful relationship. Too much time apart.
