The people in the pictures posted of Johnny leaving the stage is a band member and Bruce Witkin who appears to be acting roadie for the night. It is not Vanessa. I don't think that Jerry would be so careful to a member of the band, because he is holding the back from that woman(?) in this picture! |

Jerry is waiting for Johnny to come offstage, Mansons guitar player exited first which is who you see Jerry touching on the back.
The person with the big hair is Bruce Witkin who was acting as roadie for Johnny that night and was waiting next to Jerry to take the guitar from Johnny. Veronica Witkin may have well been their the night of the awards but she is not in either of the pictures.
If you see videos from that night it is more obvious than the pictures.

No, that's not the back of a guitar player which Jerry is touching. I know the video and there isn't a guitar player with long hair and wearing a coat like this. Here's a bigger version of the pic and you can see the person has long hair. Attachments:

Vanessa's hair is much lighter than the hair of the person in the picture so I don't think it's her.

In the video you can't see the scene where that picture was taken from, because in that moment they swung the camera into the audience.

Yes but it is pretty obvious when you see Johnny unstrapping the guitar a band member exits stage mere seconds before he does.
One thing is for sure it is not Vanessa.

I just got an e-mail from a friend who hasn't bothered connecting with me in about a year. I only try so many times. Then I figure they'll get in touch when they want to, but I'm not holding my breath.
Anyway, what does she say? "What do you think about Johnny Depp splitting up with his wife?" Grrrrrrr. I hate that. I told her not to listen to paparazzi rumours.

My friends knows that I'm a fan of Johnny and Vanessa and they were like "Did you hear they're splitting?" when it all started. And I tried to explain that it may be false, it was right when Vanessa denied the rumors so I told them she said it's false but they prefer believing the tabloids. Pissing off, indeed! But oh well...
Nothing is certain, that's for sure. I guess time will tell everything but we shouldn't expect anything. The tabloids, in my opinion, are trying to squeeze money and sell more magazines.

knowing that People magazine is actually lying, i believe less and less in this rumor in fact I never believed it at all more when vanessa denied it but now it's so hard to believe it to me unless they state is true or unless i see them attending an event or kissing with someone else on the street, otherwise i'm not buying this, everyday it seems more gossip things are more random and hard to believe it too distorted of the story people magazine sell out months ago it looks just BS just like the tabloids does with brangelina all the time and their fans are really used to read one day they are happily together and the other they are breaking up or brad is back with jen or she is furious with brad and more things seems like they are doing the same with johnny and vanessa now i gotta get used to read rumors about them and i am already doing it, the other day i was reading the story about vanessa and benjamin biolay in celebitchy.com and it was hilarious to me, they can write whatever they want but they are not fooling me i have to see to believe no real proofs and words of thirds are just lies to me |

I agree with you valentina. Pics or it didn't happen. Otherwise it's hard to believe to these rumors. Also, as you said, from day to day the rumors are even more random and pointless.
I don't bother to read gossip on the internet, I've had enough of it. But from time to time I see rumors being copied from a gossip site to a board I write [Like this one], and 90% of the times it's sounds like a pure BS to me.
You got a good point there, valentina. The tabloids are 'attacking' Johnny and Vanessa just like they do to Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie-Jeniffer Aniston. The amount of rumors I heard about Jeniffer Aniston's alleged nervous breakdown because of Brad and Angelina's marriage is ridiculous. And obviously false, but the internet is full of these rumors. And the tabloids used to write every day about the alleged break up of Brad and Angelina or that Angelina is really ill and about to die. Obvious BS.
I haven't seen any solid and actual proof yet, the tabloids didn't give any, just vague and random statements. So I don't bother to believe the tabloids. Vanessa's words are much more credible then their words, in my opinion.

absolutely agree lotan, but also is horrible to see that the media suddenly have made johnny and vanessa one of the most stable low profile private and respectable couple like johnny and vanessa were (before all this rumor) to the brangelina level  and not only to johnny and vanessa they attacked will smith and jada another very strong stable couple pff but i guess these rumors happens mainly to high profile superstars quality of brad johnny or will or tom cruise. and of course the media carry their partners with the rumors, for example the most important superstars super celebrities whatever you wanna call it are brad and johnny and people are always obsessed to know things about their private life and the media takes advantage of it and sells magazines everywhere and i am not exagerating you see you have a new rumor about brad pitt per 1 or 2 weeks always with angelina and jennifer and you have a new rumor about johnny per 1 or 2 months mainly with vanessa included Johnny has become very 'buzzed' the last years.. |

I recalled in interview with Johnny in an Israeli weekend newspaper, he was promoting The Tourists if I remember correctly. He was asked about what it's like to live in the spotlight and suffer the tabloids and he said that it's hard but there are celebrities that suffer of it much more, Brad and Angelina for example. Funny that now he's a part of these celebrities.
Anyway, the tabloids are spreading a new rumor everyday...we shouldn't expect a comment from Johnny nor Vanessa just like Brad and Angelina didn't respond to the tabloids' rumors each day. Perhaps they'll say something while promoting or whatever but it's not something we should expect.
The sad thing is that people are making money out of spreading rumors about other people! This is just sad.
