Yes, in my part of England I have seen lots of ads on buses and bus shelters. Ads are shown quite regularly on tv too. My neices, who are well versed in all things Vanessa ( and M! ) say that a lot of their friends want to see this movie. There is quite a buzz about it so I guess this means that we will have to share our special secret!!

I saw the movie and I loved!! I think is one of the most cute animated movies I've ever seen. Lucille is just like Vanessa in so many ways, I liked how the director created the characters based on Vanessa and -M-, the gap teeth and the '-M- hair' was faboulous and so cleaver!
The songs are adorables, such a beautiful movie. I'm going to watch again with my sister

Meixang, the release date in Israel is March 7th. Which means, tomorrow. I saw a pic of the movie-poster in the weekend's news paper.
Anyway I was watching TV when suddenly I heard Vanessa's voice and I as like "What... ". Then I realized it's the trailer for A Monster in Paris.
I'll probably go to the cinema with my little sister in Friday to watch it!

No critics yet, the release is tomorrow. I'll search for critics during the weekend&the next week. I'm pretty sure there will be something in the weekend's newspaper.

Not much of Israeli press related to Vanessa here right now...last year we had many discussions about the cancelled concert and our disappointment... But not much now.

Just finished watching Un monstre a Paris.
And I'm in love with this movie! So sweet and funny! The ending made me so happy!
And Raoul is hilarious...and fleas have never been so sweet! ;D

I immediately gave up on the English version. Original version's always the best.

I only saw it in French but in English it can be fun too : just to hear Vanessa speak in English.
But for songs, the French version can be the best : I love M voice even if I like Sean Lennon songs too!
I'll watch one day!

The thing is, that when a movie is getting dubbed to another language, they change many words so it'll perfectly fit into the movie. So the original is always the best. Plus, I don't think Mathieu is voice-overing his character in English. I happened to watch one of the songs in English, in YouTube, and it wasn't him dubbing. I love Mathieu much more!
