New York is a short flight to LA to be with her kids while they're off for the Thanksgiving Break--I would imagine she is, or has been, with her kids the last few days. Most films in the US take time off for the Thanksgiving holiday--- |

She's not American, but her children are. If she had been in L.A. she would have been photographed at the airport. She was photographed (passport in hand) coming into NY to film, right before Thanksgiving. Photographed filming the day after Thanksgiving. The kids have been photographed with Ruth, their constant mother-figure these days. Of course it's none of my business...but 95% of what is discussed on this board is none of your business, either. Doesn't keep you from speculating and gossiping. I understand that most of you don't want to hear anything about Vanessa that isn't wonderful and gushing, but she is a normal human. Some things aren't wonderful. Being put on a pedestal makes for a hard fall, and it's not fair to her. She has implied, herself, that she needs to spend time with her children.

Speaking for myself, I don't put her on a pedestal because there are some atitudes on her that I dislike, or things she says. I don't think she is perfect and all. I just don't think that not being with her children on a holiday that isn't of her culture is too bad. And by the way, we don't know if she wasn't there - not having paparazzi's picture doens't say much, since when she went to Russia there was no pictures on the airport either.

Both Johnny & Vanessa can travel freely when they really want to without being detected. How does anyone know if Johnny was even in LA for Thanksgiving. Maybe he was in Kentucky or Florida with family. We can speculate all we want about where either one of them is at any given moment. But assuming Vanessa wasn't with her kids for their holiday break just because she wasn't photographed at an airport is really a stretch.

Well, apparently Vanessa better not be caught photographed around a holiday without her children, or else somebody is going to personally attack her. So, to get this thread back on topic, I just want to comment on how much it makes me smile to see her so happy to be back in New York, as she's talked about, and I hope she's doing well. I'm also excited that she's filming her first ever English-language movie. |

I wonder if Vanessa will keep her french accent as she plays a hassidic woman (I have no idea if hasidic jews have any accent, do they?) , I would love to hear speaking english with her french accent.

Many couples who have split divide holidays, so for example one will have Christmas holidays with the children & the other Thanksgiving. I don't put Vanessa on a pedestal but I have never doubted that she is a 100% committed & devoted mother. As an aside don't forget the years that Vanessa devoted to raising the children whilst Johnny was away working, now they are older I think she is entitled to focus on her career again. I really don't think we need to worry about her kids, she adores them & I'm sure they have no doubt of that.
Thanks for the photos! Sharon looks so glamorous! I'm so excited for this movie!!!!
