I went to the cinema last night, this is a translation of my opinion
I admit I was disappointed, I expected something strong, disturbing, shocking! Unfortunately I am not back in it. I don't know what to think ... Finally, if but my opinion is unresolved.
The actors are all excellent, their play are dosed properly, you can't see the actors but the characters. The music is great, we want to move! I liked the style of Jean-Marc Vallée but a little more dialogue would have been welcome! The sequences in Paris are very short compared to sequences in Quebec. I expected to see more of Vanessa. Also in view of some critics as I expected to see a Jaqueline very hard with her child, in fact not. I loved the scene when she plays the monster and she jumps around! There she was released! Her playing is very fair. At no time have I been hit, fill something - so just when Laurent and Vero meet for the first time and don't want to leave. I haven't found the end so very wonderful or I don't understand.
That said, Cafe de Flore is a good movie!
I think it had to be a beautiful human adventure for actors especially for the French side. The meeting with these children has probably been extremely rewarding, and is felt in the interview with Vanessa.

I wanted to see it today but all my friends wanted to see Sherlock Holmes instead. I had a good time with Sherlock but I can't wait to see Café de Flore.

I had a feeling Vanessa's role wasn't as big as they make it seem... she only shot it for 2 weeks! Thanks Meixang.

Wow how did you find it? Thank you so much Meixang! Weird, the cinemas here doesn't display Cafe de Flor, so I assumed I won't be able to see it. Apparently a theatre, not far from my city, will air the movie. I might go there! And if not, I'm pretty sure they'll air it in the theatre in my city. I'm still very surprised that you found this site! And thanks a lot again!

No, it's will display in a theatre not far away from my city, in an other city called Nes-Tziona. But I'm not sure I'll be able to go and I don't wanna go alone. I'll do my best to arrive though, I really wanna watch this movie.
Perhaps, the movie will be in theatres on March 15, and I'll just go to the theatre. But it's from the kind of movies that aren't display on the big screens here, only in specific theatres. I'll try checking more information anyway!

Thanks so much for the tip-off about the Glasgow showing!! I'm going to see it on Friday, just before I catch a flight but I'm not going to let that stop me, haha! Now I just need to convince someone to come with me, not always easy with foreign films, English-speaking people are very slow to embrace movies in other languages a lot of the time which is a shame

Boo. I'm afraid I won't be able to see the movie in that theatre we were talking about. Nobody to go with. But, as you said, Meixang, it will arrive the cinemas here at March 15, I'll search for it in the cinemas near my city!

I think the release in Brazil will take a long time to come. With L'arnacoeur took one year. I want to see this movie so much

Wow, really, Aline? One year? It arrived to Israel 2 months after the release in France... That's so annoying! Sorry that you won't be able to see Cafe de Flor so quickly. ):

At least I expect the distributor won't be the same, because the movie was shown in a few cities and any magazine talked about it. But that's ok, I'll wait! That's great the movie arrived in Israel (one day I'll visit your country!), have you already seen?

But L'arnacour arrived quickly and I watched it twice at the cinema and bought the DVD a long time ago when it arrived to the stores here. I love this movie! And you're always invited to Israel! We love tourists. ;D
