Love the pics!!! Can someone please translate? Yes, please! Flawless photos - maybe it's just me, but Vanessa looks very "different", especially in the cover shot. I can honestly say I nearly didn't recognize her . . . Because of photoshop I guess. She is beautiful anyway no need to put that much photoshop on her face.I still can't see any resemblence between Lily and Vanessa though (apart from the hair color) She is all Johnny IMO.

I've tried to translate the ELLE interview. There are a lot of french expressions that I don't know how to translate correctly, sorry . ( Pour ceux qui parlent Français, ;D please, si vous constatez que j'ai écrit une grosse bêtise, n'hésitez pas à corriger, thank you ) In this "Cornwall", you act a woman who changes her life. She withdraws into herself, and, suddenly, she opens up to the others...That's a fascinating thing with her, and I think, it's in each of us... We all need this "auto-protection"... We have to learn how to do good and bad things. This woman is barricaded from inside, she must have been very strong to protect herself, almost frigid, and life makes that she gives up this fight, and admits that she lied to herself, in order to open up to the others. That's a thing I liked, she finds herself without research (??), simply by living her life. You too, you suddenly make a lot of movies, does it mean that you open up more ?It's more that I've never had so many interesting proposals. Since "The Heartbreaker", I'm in the people's unconscious. I make a lot of movies, and finally, I feel legitimate as an actress; Maybe it's because of the age... Now, directors offer me richer roles. For example, I've shot a movie starring Sandrine Bonnaire, in a convent ! With Anne Le Ny, I was happy, because I had to give the best of myself, she dissects everything, I had to immerse myself in work. But after a break of several years, I was afraid of losing this "lâcher-prise", which is so necessary in order to act. But after, it's like a jump with a parachute, we don't think about it anymore. I enjoy embarking on. (??) As we can embark on a new love affair ?Love, it's another things, it's fears, doubts. What is your life today ?I still share my life between the USA and France. I've got a flat in Paris, but my children go to school in Los Angeles, and we often go to the south of France. My children are older now ( Jack is 10 years old, and Lily-Rose is 13 years old), they are more independant. Your daughter will be soon at the age you had when you began with "Joe le taxi"... Don't you think it was too young ?My daughter enjoy singing ! Jack is a guitarist, and I can say that if they start a career, it will be a good thing for music ! But... I think I have a lot of admiration for my parents. I wasn't scared, I met Étienne Roda-Gil when I was 12 years old, I was fascinated by the ambiance in studios, the "visual display unit", all these switches... I didn't realize. It was not easy for my father and my mother. They weren't lax, you know, I'm not so distressing as they could be. But, for my part, even if I don't regret what I did, I'd rather that my daughter takes the time to learn and, above all, that she lives her childhood. "Cornwall" takes place in Brittany like "Élisa". Does this shooting remind you a lot of memories ?"Élisa" is a marvellous memory... I enjoy looking back, remember all these beautiful things that I lived. And I often think to people that are dead. To Serge Gainsbourg, for example, who made me grow artistically speaking. I remember when we were in the studio. He was someone who was so intense, extreme and, with a huge delicacy. He could be so radiant, and, suddenly, so gloomy. Is Johnny Depp like that ?It would be too personal to say yes, but I think if they met each other, they would become the best friends in the world ! But I don't want to speak about him... Who said artists must sell their soul, to reveal everything ? It's my duty to promote this movie, my albums, but imagine what is it when you see the others make business with your pain. What happens to us, it's private. But you understand it could be a feeling of kindness from people who follow you since you're 15 years old ?Yes, of course, and I'll never be blasé, it always is a pleasant surprise to see how nice people are with me. We grew up together, I'm like a "distant" cousin for them, it's touching. They know you for a very long time, and, as Anne Le Ny said, you are not really revealed.I know people say that about me, but I absolutely don't feel mysterious ! On the contrary, if you knew how down to earth I am (French expression "avoir les pieds sur terre" ). I'm a real earthling ( ) and I'm tired of that. In December, you'll be 40 years old, what do you feel about that ?That's just a number. Like so many people, I feel happier now than when I was 20 years old. I had my ups and downs, doubts and certainties, but I'm not afraid of going to my 80 ! I am in present, I don't have a recipe for happiness, but I think the driving force, it's just when you want to do something, when you're not obliged, or being in repetition (??). For example, I detest when I hear : "A pair, you have to work on it", no, you must feel like being there.(??) And I, I want to be where I am today.

Thank you so much, nounours13! Love to see photos, but when there's an actual interview, not just tabloid commentary, I'd rather have the interview! Again, many thanks for your time and thoughtful translation.

Yes but you notice in the interview that she says children go to school at L.A. So it means she stays in USA.

I have a feeling that children prefer LA to France. They have more friends in LA since they spend more time in LA due to school stuff. She is doing the right thing by staying in US.
Thanks a lot for translation.
