I love her singing! I'm wondering if there's any singers you know with a similar style of singing and it can be in any nationality. Thanks

Hi Lilyrrosse ! I think about a French singer named Olivia Ruiz. Her voice is not very similar to the Vanessa's voice, but there is an interesting "bohemian style" that I really like. Here is her website; (hope it works for you)... www.olivia-ruiz.com

Maybe her voice doesn't sound like Van's but her music is great and has this bohemian, French style as well

I recommend Tori Amos. Her style reminds me of Vanessa.

Meixang, thank you for mentioning Lou Doillon - I'd been meaning to check her out and had forgotten. Love her! Wow, she looks so much like her mother. This is an appropriate place to mention my own French song, with my band The Pralines I wrote a song in French, and I'm delighted to report that last month, it received airplay on an indie French radio program! I was thrilled, not only to receive airplay in France, but also because this means my beginner-French was approved by native French listeners, woo-hoo! Here's a link to the song - and kudos to my wonderful bandmates: thepralines.bandcamp.com/track/il-commence-pleuvoir

When I first took an interest in Vanessa's music, I thought her voice sounded similar to Gwen Stefani in a way.
