Don't forget that Johnny has a lot of power in the business. It's not a stretch to believe he could make it happen if he wanted. This is hurting Johnny's reputation, and he makes a lot of money for some powerful people.

Nevertheless, Heard was hanging out with her ex last month. So it seems they're on good terms.

This is what I was saying earlier. Heard has no motive to shut down the rumors. They raise her profile. Johnny does have a motive, regardless of their relationship status, because the rumors are hurting him.

Perhaps it's just a coincidence that Heard gets photographed with her ex the same day a US Weekly story calling her Johnny's girlfriend comes out, but I doubt it.

royal, amber and tasya are full on dating they didn't broke up (dailymail posted new pics of them) in touch (that is not reliable) lied that they broke up to make credible the rumors of amber and johnny, and i can't blame lainey for thinking amber was trying to get fame i thought the same, everybody did, but I see I was wrong, so did Lainey, and your theory about amber trying to stage the pics with her gf doesn't make sense like Kim said why would his 'ex' (not ex really, still girlfriend) do that? for Johnny if 'he is a relationship with amber'?, they paid tasya to hide their affair?, think about it for a second it doesn't make any sense, obviously US Weekly and in touch lied as they are tabloid magazines and they don't check facts before they write stories

I agree Kim, to me that makes no sense whatsoever. Also remember the story of Heard flying on Johnny's private jet (prior to the official split announcement) wasn't Heard's girlfriend also present?? None of this adds up. Anyway I just hope its not true because if Johnny (or Vanessa) was selfish enough to have an affair I would lose a lot of respect for him (or her!)

That's well said chou! All of this arguing over over the posting of rumors on a 'Rumors' thread is ridiculous and its clogging the thread up. Yes 99% of these stories are completely false and we should take it as given that by posting articles does not necessarily mean you actually endorse them. But I am a fan of Vanessa's and I want to know whats being said about her on such a big scale, not because I believe it but because the whole world is talking about this & as a fan I want to know what is being said. My advice (which you are free to ignore) is if you are offended by gossip don't read the 'Rumors' thread.

Because what started as what we saw as a nasty swipe at Johnny and Vanessa, by People, came true. I am so crushed by all of this. I just hope Vanessa is okay, among friends and family. And I want her to come out of this and continue to be the great actress and singer that she is. I love her!!!

As I was trying to say last night, apparently unsuccessfully, the status of Johnny's relationship with Amber is irrelevant. Johnny needs the rumors to go away, even if they are dating, because they are hurting his image.

Once the obviously staged paparazzi photos of Amber and her ex showed up in the Daily Mail, it became clear they were trying to shut down the rumors.

Woah, just finished reading all of the comments since last night.
I'm not reading in tabloids and gossip sites at all and I get all of the 'news' from these sites here, but all I'm thinking is about Johnny, Vanessa and their children. Not their alleged new relationships, whether is they exist and whether if they don't. I just want all of them to be happy. And all of the rumors that go around are definitely not helping, they does not contribute to any side in this story, so I really hope everything will be more relaxed soon. It was obvious that new rumors will start as soon as the official announcement will be released, but it's getting on my nerves anyway. As it has been said, Vanessa will promote her movies soon and it'll be really depressing to see interviewers asking her about her personal life instead of her work, and it's not helping to Johnny's career at all. And, it's not really good for their kids, especially when kids in their age have an access to the internet.
I just hope all of the malicious [And in many parts, ridiculous!] rumors will end soon.

Just as predicted. It would not surprise me if the Holmes camp timed their announcement to coincide with Johnny's. After all, there are only so many covers of magazines. ;-)

I wish you would stop saying it was hurting his image. There is absolutely NO proof of that. Bad press in the tabloids does not mean his image was hurt in any way, shape or form. Johnny was seldom the tabs for anything good and his "image" was obviously just fine.

Of course I think they are fine with it. Johnny wouldn't have gotten the gig in the first place if they weren't "fine" with it. He was no saint when they decided to cast him as Captain Jack. Their star also had 2 kids "out of wedlock" as they used to say, and it didn't stop them from making billions off of him.
What do they care that he and his girl broke up and he plays a gig or 2 on the side? What do they care that he has a rowdy night out on the town once in awhile? You think they haven't seen or heard worse? Business is business and I'm pretty sure that Disney hasn't broken a sweat over anything Johnny since his very first audition with them. And that was only because Johnny auditioned as a bit of a swishy, rock 'n roll pirate.

Oh yes please, i know this sounds awful and its terrible that they katie and tom are divorced (i am not a fan and wish them best and i am sorry for their daughter) but at least the media will forget a little of johnny and vanessa, look at the comments on the thread of the divorce of tom and katie it has like 400 comments while all the threads of johnny and vanessa has no more than 200 comments (on CB)

It has nothing to do with whether I "like gossip" or not. It's the fact that several people here are actually believing the gossip. At least if it's negative for Johnny. If it's negative for Vanessa, "of course it's not true." Gossip sites are ridiculous, but sometimes fun to read. Of course, when they are trashing people we care about, they cease to be much fun. Johnny is in Moab, Utah, preparing for almost 2 months of filming in a very hot climate. I believe the kids are with him. It's doubtful "dating" anyone right now is a high priority. And reading Us or People has never been a priority. Vanessa herself has stated how she feels about such magazine. She said they are burned or trashed in the toilet. It's doubtful if any of them ever crossed their doorstep.
