agree, valentina. this is a site for vanessa's fans so we should talk about her, not johnny. most of people here seems to be more on johnny's favour than vanessa's. yeah, that was what i was trying to say in the previous page |

You say "royal" that you occasionally come here and lurk!? This is what you call lurking? Seems to me you have done all you could to get everybody all upset. With your "written in stone as the absolute gosh darn truth, cause I say so" attitude. If you don't care about Vanessa please leave and go somewhere else. And I find your opinions on Johnny offensive. I don't care what you think you know, you don't know one bit of information more than anyone else on this site.

Frankly, I think it's disheartening that some people are being attacked for expressing their opinion. You may not find their opinions favorable, but at least kindly respect them and agree to disagree. There's no need to sling mud at someone because they've drawn up certain conclusions about Johnny and/or Vanessa. Isn't what this thread was created for? To discuss and speculate all rumors? If they feel a certain way about the situation, why can't they openly share these feelings without being attacked? And if you find it so offensive, then just ignore them or simply don't click on this thread.

oh and now i was seeing the tom cruise stories (now he is getting divorced) the awful rumors about him are way worse than JD, people says they relationship was a 'contract' that katie was always unhappy with him and some rumors claim cruise is not even the father of the little girl can it get nastier than that?, differ of Johnny and Vanessa, Tom Cruise had a high profile relationship with Katie Holmes the rumors of Johnny and Vanessa compared to 'tomkat' rumors are just 'normal' (you know cheating; money; the obvious stories) the effect of the split of Cruise and Holmes was the double of the split of Johnny and Vanessa, you are surely wondering why I am mentioning this?, Because I think hopefully that would take off J&V out of the eye of the press not completely but reduce the stories a little (like it happened to heidi and seal they divorced some months ago but it has happened so many things in hollywood that people barely talk about their split) also people are now focused in Holmes and Cruise, so unless the media invent something 'bigger' of Johnny and Vanessa they will back off a little, I hope so, it's great that Johnny and Vanessa had a 'private' relationship (if the word private exists in hollywood) otherwise the media and people will be real nasty with them like with tom and katie

This is a 'Rumors' thread and specifically a 'Rumors' thread about Vanessa's relationship with Johnny, so therefore it is sort of un-avoidable to discuss him here (not anywhere else on the forum though which is for Vanessa obviously). I really advise people who are unhappy about either of those topics not to leave the site, to keep enjoying it but DON'T click onto this thread, for your own sake! Personally I like hearing other people's points of view, doesn't mean I agree but I also don't see the point of angrily refuting each others beliefs constantly & causing more & more arguments. As Serendipity said there are probably more rows going on here than between the Depp-Paradis family! At the end of the day good OR bad we no nothing for sure and therefore people are going to speculate, I think we should just respect that everybody has different opinions and avoid threads that are likely to offend us. I'm trying to reduce my amount of posts on this thread since I feel like I'm arguing much more than I actually speak, and I already spoke my mind enough times-I want Vanessa and Johnny to be happy and I don't care what tabloids say, that's my bottom line. The funny and sad thing is that the fans are probably getting more bitter and defensive toward each other than Johnny and Vanessa are. My problem with the Johny bashing posts is that they are repetitive. She/he keeps saying the same thing over and over again. We get the point. Royal is entitled to his/her opinion (even though those opinions are stated as facts and are really based on tabloid fodder). I am entitled to disagree. However, I do see your point, Serendipity. I have made my point clear, and will move forward. In no way did I ever suggest a censor, other than to question why the topic of Johnny's career choices and personal life is being continually on a board dedicated to Vanessa. There are Depp boards for that. Royal and I can agree to disagree on the subject of Johnny's choices. |

Royaltenenbaum is certainly not being "hateful" and in my opinion his thoughts are very interesting to read and very cogent. I personally find the discussion of how PR and the industry work very useful and thought-provoking. And this is a rumor thread, so if you object to the rumors, you can not come to this thread. Come on people, mindless devotion is not useful or interesting. An echo chamber of "J and V are fabulous, that's all i want to say" is a sure way to drive people away from this forum. |
