I understand what you say, but in my opinion perfection is overrated, perfection doesn't exist and even if she didn't have the gap teeth haters would find any reasons to critic her, and yeah some people don't like it and make fun of it to me these are just silly people who don't have nothing better to do or look at themselves, she is perfect to me with her flaws, and I don't care if others don't like her (but that just me) and have you seen Ana Paquin? she has a gap teeth and she is not french [google Ana Paquin gap teeth] (because in france is very common ) not in america because in america they are obsessed with barbie looking teeth like Britney Spears, and Anna hasn't fixed it neither and she is stars in True Blood an american tv serie and they have never covered her gap teeth and she works in hollywood movies they never covered it neither... if they picked her for a (small) role in this movie is because they don't mind the gap.

Wow...without make-up, she looks like a different person. Skillful make-up and a hair stylist is really he friend.

I hope to see Vanessa & Woody in a same scene  Thanks evochka, I remember Vanessa back then saying Woody Allen was one of her dream directors here he is not directing but still a nice chance for her if they have some scene together, the interview is up in youtube I think it was from 1996 |

When you like someone (singer, actor ..)you prefer that she or he would be perfect, not a person that many people joking about her or him. if she had a small gap like Georgia Jagger that was better. I respect your opinion, beam, but mine is slightly different. I deeply doubt that there is any such universal "perfect" - everyone has their own preference. In fact, I much prefer anybody that I admire to absolutely not be perfect! We are all human I have quite a good gap in my teeth too but - and this is just my opinion - I've never ever felt the desire to have it fixed. It is part of me and I can't imagine looking into the mirror and not seeing it! It's always been difficult for me to comprehend the issue with a gap, but again, personal preference - I think they're quite attractive. I am so glad to have mine and not daunted by the thought of it getting bigger as I age! |

Is she supposed to be wearing a wig in the film? Just wondering, as it looks horrible. It looks very much like a wig, not real hair.

Is she supposed to be wearing a wig in the film? Just wondering, as it looks horrible. It looks very much like a wig, not real hair. It's a wig. You can see some behind the scenes pictures where she's not wearing it. |

The wig is because she plays an Hasidic (orthodox) Jew woman.

Its horrible to see all the trashy tabloids suddenly printing all of her photos because she doesn't look her best in them, it really winds me up! I know I just shouldn't read but I always feel like I need to stick up for her. Vanessa doesn't look her glamourous best her but shes playing a character who is obviously fairly dowdy. Besides that she must be jet-lagged & has had a turbulent year so far by anyone's standards. I'm proud of how well she has handled what must have been one of the most difficult years of her life. [Also I love her teeth]

I can think of other occassions where she looked a bit less better than that, I actually think she looks perfectly fine in the recent photos. I didn't check out any gossip site/tabloid but I don't know what they're all talking about, I just think she looks good here, even with the wig and the ugly clothes. It's a movie. The tabloids' writers just LOVE bashing her. But Vanessa handles it well and I admire her for that.
