Vanessa et Johnny do a duet on the tribute album of Lulu Gainsbourg. They sing ' Ballade de Melody Nelson'!
It will be release in september 2011.

That should be awesome! I don't really like that song as much as other Gainsbourg songs, but it's the most meaningful to them so that's lovely. Even more awesome if there is a video... or behind the scenes! It's so hard to imagine Johnny singing in French... I don't think I'll believe it till I hear it  Part of me thinks he'll back out and do guitar. |

As we suspected, Johnny will just be playing guitar and Lulu will be singing with Vanessa. There will, finally, Vanessa Paradis, who will sing the haunting Melody Nelson. Thanks for the info, but I feel a bit dissapointed.I expected Johnny sang with Van  He has a beautiful voice, and with Vanessa's both would create something special,very artistic and cool.So sad he is not singing finally..Anyway,a part of me expected they did not sing together because I Johnny is not fond of that,he once said he prefered to stay in the shadow.So sad,because he is a great singer (Sweeney Todd Movie). |
